Why We Built Krayon Fuel
Krayon Fuel started with a joke rooted in Marine culture. Marines have been called crayon eaters for years, and like many insults in the military, it became something we owned.
But the reason I built this company goes much deeper than the name. I spent years serving beside people who would do anything for the person next to them. When I left the Marine Corps, I wanted to build a company that carried that same mindset into business.
I didn't just want to build a pre-workout. I wanted to build a company that could continue serving the veteran community.
The image shown here was taken during my time in Recon while operating in combat diver equipment alongside another Marine. Experiences like that shaped the principles behind Krayon Fuel: preparation, accountability, staying calm under pressure, and doing your part for the people beside you.
That mindset shapes more than the mission. It also shapes how the company is being built. Formula revisions, flavor testing, label changes, setbacks, and launch decisions are being shared openly so customers can see the process—not just the finished tub.
Starting at launch, 5% of annual net profits will support our Veteran Mission. Each year, we will publish the amount, recipient, and date so the commitment remains clear and accountable.
